I am a second degree priestess in Awen Forge. I have been studying world religions and spirituality as long as I can remember. I was not raised in a religion and thus I paved and continue to pave my own way. My strongest leanings are Tibetan, Celtic and a grounded New Age. I am a long time member of the Sacred Crossroads and Awen Forge family. Having a solid spiritual community is such a blessing and I am grateful to have found such a strong, intelligent and supportive community in my life.

While I was raised by a strong (and wonderful) Christian family, I’ve always felt a great spiritual connection to nature and have sought out a nurturing face of deity. Once Christianity was no longer able to provide answers to my myriad questions, and was (I felt and observed) too rigid to accept certain ideas and persons I embraced, I started looking toward other forms of spirituality.  After a good amount of seeking I finally discovered Wicca, and I felt like I was home. I practiced as a ‘newbie’ solitaire for a few years until I was, through one of my now-coven sisters, introduced to the SCC open rituals. That first Imbolc ritual was magical. I loved having the experience of worshiping with a group, and knew I wanted to pursue that.

Jump forward another two and a half years, past lots of reading, studying, and self-searching, and I officially became part of a great family!! I enjoy the shared experiences of working within a coven, the personal support, and the constant joint pursuit of knowledge and betterment. I am a very analytical person, who loves symbolism, structure, and balance, and so enjoy working within a Traditional setting. A Traditional group lends a very rich (albeit convoluted) history, very knowledgeable practitioners and teachers, and a great sense of purpose.

In my ‘mundane’ life I’m a student of chemistry, soon to graduate (fingers crossed).  I spend my free time reading, drawing, dancing, and doing anything else I find to be creative or intellectually stimulating. And I have to admit that I’m a bit of a fantasy nerd and ren faire geek.  🙂

In the past I’ve studied eclectic neo-paganism as well as spent more than a decade in the Kemetic Orthodoxy, an Egyptian reconstruction/revival tradition. But I’ve always kept a wistful eye on traditional Wicca. Eventually, I was given a spiritual “shove” to start down that path, found Awen Forge, and the rest is history (in the making)!

Finally feeling at home within the lore, praxis, and structure that is offered by the traditions of Gardnerian Wicca, I am very excited to continue my studies as an initiate of Awen Forge with such a wonderful, supportive, and intelligent group of Witches. I have already learned so much with Lady Hjordis and rest of the coven and I look forward to many more years with them.

In my mundane life, I’m a professional in Human Resources, student of philosophy, world religions, science, history, and an avid fan of the science-fiction and fantasy genres.

I am many things. Science professional, novelist, father, entrepreneur, martial artist, musician, philanthropist, and spiritual seeker. All these I’ve been and many I still pursue. All of these led me to Awen Forge where I’ve found a solid foundation and welcomed in the circle.

I am a second degree priestess in the craft, and am honored to be a member of Awen Forge. My journey in the craft has taken me down many paths. As a child, I felt a deep connection to nature, and the cycles of Earth around me. Through the guidance of close friends and other witches of the craft, I was initiated and later found my way to Awen Forge. This is a teaching coven and I have had the pleasure of learning a great deal from the others in this group. They are an amazing and supportive coven, with a great wealth of knowledge.
